Paris May Miss Competitive Eating's Masters

Paris Hilton’s lawyer recently confirmed an early check-in for the hotel heiress at the Women’s Correctional Facility in Lynwood, California. The socialite, who was caught driving with a suspended license, is slated to begin a 45-day sentence on June 5.

The sentence was handed down in early May, and ever since Paris has kept a good face and gone on living the normal life of a 20 something single woman. She’s been seen drinking with her parents at SoHo House, shopping with her sister in Beverly Hills, and smoking a joint with friends at the Coachella Rock Festival. But CEN spies report that Paris has turned a tad sullen of late.

“I was drinking at the Waverly Inn on Tuesday night with some of her friends and it was all about how Paris has gone from good old party girl to a depressed, sullen mess,” said one spy. “Apparently the Lynnwood Correctional Facility has the most basic of basic cable, no ESPN. She’s totally freaking about missing the July four contest.”

While calls to Paris and her attorney have not been returned, a source tells CEN that Paris’ legal team is working overtime. Initially, lawyers tried to reduce her sentence to 29 days so she could get out on July 3rd. They have failed, and are now offering to reimburse the state of California if it agrees to order an upgrade from Comcast that would ensure the July 4th Nathan’s Famous ESPN broadcast will be shown in the common area of Paris’ penal facility.
