Weather an Issue in Chatty?

The forecast for Chattanooga on Saturday calls for wind with a mix of sun and clouds. At Square Off time, temps will be in the mid 50's. Certain eaters feel this is a tad cool and fear high winds could dry out the buns. Others don't agree.

"I wear shorts year-round so I know a few things about the weather," said Crazy Legs Conti, a New Yorker who claims window washing among his professions. "The weather could dry out the buns, the weather could impact not only my performance, but Kobayashi's, Chestnut's, everybody's."

Some disagree, claiming that the weather on tap is perfect for a contest.

"Mid 50's with a mix of sun and clouds? That's perfect," said Humble Bob Shoudt of Philly. "The weather won't dry out any buns and it won't impact my performance. I highly doubt it will matter a bit to Kobayashi, Chestnut, anybody."

Bertoletti failed to take sides: "The weather might be a factor but maybe not."
